CMHC Predicts Housing Start Increases and Price Growth in Saskatoon

CMHC is predicting market recovery for Saskatoon as we move into 2019 and 2020, according to a recent report. Lower housing starts have already started to reduce our inventories, which CMHC is predicting will stabilize prices. They are also predicting stronger economic growth and increased housing starts for 2019 and 2020. This is welcome news for the Saskatoon Real Estate market as we have been in a slow state of contraction for the past few years. CMHC expects the market to continue to move more toward a balanced position going forward.
