How to Become a Realtor in Saskatoon

We often get inquiries about how one becomes a Real Estate Agent in Saskatoon. The info is available on-line, but is a bit confusing. So, here’s a simple overview of the 4 steps required:

1) Enroll in and pass the Real Estate courses provided by the Association of Saskatchewan Realtors.

  • This is comprised of 2 Phases that are broken into 4 sections. Each section has one multiple choice exam
    • Phase 1 – Real Estate as a Professional Career, 1 exam
    • Phase 2
      • Residential Real Estate as a Professional Career, 1 exam
      • Commercial Real Estate as a Professional Career, 1 exam
      • Farm Real Estate as a Professional Career, 1 exam

2) Provide proof of high school education (or equivalent) to the Saskatchewan Real Estate Commission

3) Provide a criminal record check to the Saskatchewan Real Estate Commission

4) Find a great brokerage to work with
